Biography
Samar started her professional career in Information Technology. She progressed in a diverse career spanning over 17 years in sales and management roles in a computer software and hardware company, then in economics research and teaching roles including research assistant at the Department of Economics in The American University of Beirut. Later, Samar joined Rasd Ltd. – member of the Amrop Hever Group as an Administration and Research Manager and progressed into Database & Research Manager. She joined Hariri Canadian University, College of Business Administration as a Part time Instructor in August 2009 teaching introductory Economics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Samar holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and a Masters degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
