Biography
Dr. Moallem has completed her PhD in Applied Mathematics from University of Lille 1- Sciences and Technologies, France (2013). She was qualified in France for Section 26 (Mathematics). She worked as TA at Polytech'lille – University of Lille 1, France (2011-2012) and as TA at the department of Mathematics- University of Lille 1, France (2012-2013). She was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Beirut Arab University (2014-2016). Since Spring 2017 till present, she has been a lecturer in Mathematics at Rafik Hariri University. She taught a wide range of Math courses for different levels, undergraduate and graduate. Some undergraduate courses include Numerical Analysis, Discrete Mathematics, Partial Differential Equations, Real Analysis, Probability and Statistics, Algebra and Analysis. Graduate courses include Advanced Numerical Analysis (Master level) and Numerical Linear Algebra (PhD level).
Research Interest
Her main research interests are Numerical Analysis, Partial Differential Equations and scientific computing. She supervised a Master thesis in Numerical Analysis and was a reporter for a Master thesis in the domain of Boundary Value Problems.
