Paul F. M. Overmars

Biography

  Mr. Paul F. M. Overmars, LL.M. serves as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer at Vereniging Achmea NV. Mr. Overmars served as the Chief Executive Officer of Achmea Association. He served as a Vice Chairman of the Executive Board at Achmea BV. He served as a Member of the Executive Board of Achmea Association since 1995. For the past 17 years, he has held positions within Zilveren Kruis Groep and from 1995 as a Member of the Executive Board Achmea Verzekerings en Bankgroep. He served as Vice Chairman of the Executive Board at Vereniging Achmea NV. Mr. Overmars is on the Board of Governors of the Dutch Association of Insurers. He served as the Chairman of the Stichting Muziek in Grote of Sint Jeroenskerk in Noordwijk. He served as Deputy Chairman of the Dutch Association of Health Insurers and Deputy President of the International Federation of Health Funds. Until June 22, 2005, he served as the Chairman of the Board of the Dutch Association of Insurers. Mr. Overmars served as Vice Chairman of Achmea Association. He serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board of SDB and of AIM. He served as a Member of Supervisory Board at Achmea BV from January 1, 2005 to March 26, 2015. Mr. Overmars served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Coöperatieve Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank B.A. from June 16, 2005 to June 17, 2010.
