Biography
Dr. R. Th. Wijmenga, also known as Roel, Ph.D. has been a Member of the Executive Board of Eureko Bv. since November 28, 2005. Dr. Wijmenga served as the Chief Financial Officer and Member of Executive Board at ASR Nederland N.V. until May 1, 2014. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Board at Achmea B.V. since April 4, 2007 and November 18, 2005 respectively. He has been a Member of the Supervisory Board at Achmea B.V. since January 1, 2015. He has been a Director of Interpolis NV of Rabobank Group since joining in May 2003 (Rabobank Group is the Trading Name of Coöperatieve Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank B.A). He held various board positions at AMEV and Fortis ASR. Dr. Wijmenga studied Econometrics and earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
