Biography

  Mr. Willem Antonius Jozef van Duin has been the Chief Executive Officer of Achmea BV since January 2009. Mr. van Duin has been the Chairman and Member of Executive Board at Achmea BV since February 10, 2009 and January 1, 2004 respectively. He has been the Chairman of Achmea Commercial Lines at Vereniging Achmea since 2002 and serves as its Director of Achmea Commercial Lines. He serves as a Member of Executive Board at Vereniging Achmea. He served as the Chairman of Executive Board and Member of Management Board of Achmea Holding N.V. He served as Vice Chairman of Executive Board at Achmea BV since October 1, 2008 until February 10, 2009. His core responsibilities include HR and MD policy, Communications policy, the Central Works’ Council, Group Compliance & Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility.
