Biography
Mr. A. W. Veenman, also known as Aad, Ph.D. serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Stork N.V. Mr. Veenman served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Netherlands Railways. He served as the President of Managing Board and Member of Managing Board of NV Nederlandse Spoorwegen. He served as the Process and Project Engineer and a Marketing Executive of Hoogovens (Esmil International). He started his career training to be a fitter/turner at Junior Technical School. He has been the Chairman of the Community of European Railways (CER) since January 26, 2005. He has been Chairman of Supervisory Board of Achmea B.V. since August 9, 2016 and has been its Member of the Supervisory Board of Achmea B.V. since 2008. He serves as Chairman of Stichting Energieonderzoek Centrum Nederland.
