Biography
Professor Vida Skudiene is a postgraduate program manager in Innovation and Technology Management and a Head of Subject Group responsible for general university education at the ISM University of Management and Economics. Professor studied at South Carolina University, USA, State University of Latvia, Vytautas Magnus University and Kaunas Technological University. For ten years he worked at the Radio Factory (Kaunas) as an economist. From 1992 till 2002 he worked as a lecturer at Vytautas Magnus University. In 2000-2008 he worked at the international Macmilan Education Oxford, UK sales manager in Lithuania. Professor Vida Skudiene presented her research at international conferences in France, Japan, Israel, the USA (Hawaii, Chicago), Greece, Spain, Norway, Jamaica, Sweden, Italy (Bocconi University) and published more than 30 scientific articles. Professor is a member of the editorial collections of international journals: "Baltic Journal of Management", "Business and Economics Journal" and "Pecvnia" editorial colleges. In 2008, Professor Vida Skudiene received the award from the US Marketing Management Association's Best Article Writer. The main areas of research are marketing, organizational behavior, leadership and entrepreneurship. Professor teaches the Relationship Marketing and Organizational Behavior in Masters and Bachelor Programs at Nagoya Advancia University, Paris, France; IPAM Instituto Portugues de Administracao de Marketing, Lisbon, Portugal, Catholica University, Porto, Portugal, Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Croatia, Reykjavik University, Iceland, Aarhus University, Denmark, In 2012, he was awarded the Year's Researcher Award. 2013 Best Art Award at The Clute Institute International Conference, Paris, France. In 2014, she attended the Gettys Results without Authority and Advanced Strategic Marketing seminars in the U.S. American Academy of Management, New York, Chicago, USA.
