Doctor’s degree in the field of psychology (St. Petersburg State University)(1985). Dissertation topic: “Kognityvinio ir emocinio komponentų santykiai studento AŠ-vaizde“ (Student self-image cognitive and emotional components relationship). Lithuanian Science Council confirmed doctor's degree in social sciences in the field of psychology (1993) The Senate gave the pedagogical title of associate professor of social sciences (1994).
