David J. Godwin 

Biography

David J. Godwin is Senior Vice President of Global Business Development at PAREXEL International.  In this role, Mr. Godwin is responsible for establishing business relationships for the entire breadth of PAREXEL's CRO services.  He leads a senior team of business developers distributed in all major geographic regions.  Mr. Godwin is also intimately involved in refining PAREXEL's strategic partnership approach - an area he has personally contributed to over the last 25 years. Mr. Godwin possesses over twenty years of extensive management experience in drug development services for the international pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.  Throughout his tenure with PAREXEL, Mr. Godwin has held several key marketing, business development and clinical data management positions.  Upon joining PAREXEL in 1989, Mr. Godwin conceived and established a multi-disciplinary, systems-oriented procedural approach to data management operations.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Godwin held technical and Department level management positions at several teaching facilities and medical centers such as St. Mary’s Hospital and Georgetown University Hospital. Mr. Godwin holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Ithaca College and a Masters of Business Administration from Boston College.
