Alice Bahner

Biography

Ms. Alice Bahner Izzo served as Executive Director of Marketing at Castle Biosciences Incorporated since 2013. Ms. Izzo has over 25 years of experience in communications and marketing for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. She oversaw the Castle Biosciences marketing, professional education and public relations programs. Previously, she served 16 years at Amylin Pharmaceuticals (now AstraZeneca) in a variety of roles, including Vice President, Corporate Affairs with responsibility for public relations, investor relations, employee communications, and government affairs at the time Amylin was acquired. Previously, she had responsibilities for pre-launch medical education and product communication for Amylin’s three diabetes products. She served as an Executive Director of Corporate Affairs at Amylin Pharmaceuticals Inc. She also has served in operational roles in medical communication companies, including a successful start-up, and as a pharmacist in retail and health system settings. Ms. Izzo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Duquesne University and a Masters of Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University.
