Biography
Dr. Logesh joined as a Project Scientist in Coastal and Marine Ecology Division during November 2015 has 07 years of research experience in taxonomy, ecology and bioprospection of mangroves and its associated lichens. He has got his Bachelors and Masters in Microbiology from Periyar University during 2003-2009, later completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Marine Microbiology (2013) from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu and worked at Lichenology Laboratory of CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow for his Ph.D. programme. He worked out the lichens along the mangroves of southeast coast of India for his doctoral thesis.
