Biography

1989 Graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of Medicine, 1990 - pathologic anatomy specialty internship. Since 2008 Laboratory of Clinical and Biochemistry of Children's Hospital, and since 2009 - Head of Clinical Diagnosis Department. 1999 He has obtained a license from a doctor's allergist and clinical immunologist.1996 Graduated from the Institute of Immunology and Clinical Transfusion in Leipzig, Germany, in 1998. - Institute of Immunology in Wroclaw (Poland) and Genetics Institute in Poznan (Poland), 2014 - Helsinki University Hospital (Finland).2000 Doctor of biomedical sciences received a scientific work on "Immunocompetent cells and their state of activity in the pathogenesis of endometriosis". 2009 performed a procedure for the habilitation of medicine in biomedical sciences, presenting a scientific paper entitled "Immune cells of the mother's mammary gland and their role in the reproduction process".Member of the Lithuanian Society of Immunologists since 2001 - Secretary of the Society, member of the Baltic Immunologists' Society and the Lithuanian Society of Clinical Immunologists and Allergists.From 2017 President of the Lithuanian Society of Immunologists.Member of the Lithuanian Laboratory Medical Society, Head of the Standing Committee on Pediatric Laboratory Medicine.Monograph "Development of Immunology in Lithuania. Three Centuries: From Empirical Hints of Resistance to Immunity Study "(2016, p. 616) by one of the compilers"The role of soluble HLA-G molecules and cytokines in implantation of the embryo", "Determination of the risk group of low risk infections in children with oncohematological diseases in the febrilic group", "The role of molecules of inhibition and activation of natural killer and activation molecules in the pathogenesis of repeated miscarriage" during neutropenia ".
