Biography

1985 Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University and acquired a pediatric specialty in 1986. graduated from the Pediatric Surgery Internship. Since 1987 works at the Children's Hospital, is a doctor of the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery of the Children's Traumatology Department. In 1991 Children's Surgery and Oncology Qualifications were raised at the Children's Hospital of the Republican Children's Surgery Department in Riga (Latvia), 1993. - Children's Surgery Division at the Children's Health Center and the Department of Burn and Plastic Surgery at the Central War Hospital in Warsaw (Poland),  1995. Children's Surgery and Burning Skills was raised at the Children's Hospital for Pediatric Surgery, as well as in the Clinic of Surgery in Burns and Plastic Surgery and Evangelical Hospital in Cologne, Germany. 1998-1999 Trained and researched plastic reconstruction skills at the Shriners Children's Hospital, Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Clinic in Los Angeles (USA), 2000. - The Beauty Therapy and Surgery Clinic in Vilnius The Medical Laser Training Course for Children's Burns in Zakopane (Poland), organized by the European Club for Pediatric Burns. 2004 Participated in the qualification upgrading course "Actual Children's Surgery Issues" at Vilnius University School of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine. 2006 Burns in babies was organized by the European Children's Burning Club members in Vilnius. 2007 Participated in the First EPOS POSNA children's orthopedics course in Bratislava, Slovakia, as well as in the European Children's Burning Club Course in Seggau (Austria) and the Children's Hospital of the University of Zurich in the Children's Burning Center in Switzerland, where he improved the plastic reconstruction of burn and scar surgery skills. 2008 got acquainted with the use of VAC and artificial leather (Integra skin) in the treatment of burns and scarring. 2009 He attended the Courses of the Institute of Biomedical Technology Research of Vilnius University ("Photo medicine: diagnosis and treatment"; "Laser medicine basics"); in the same year, the Crisis Research Center's qualification improvement course "Advanced Life Support in the Event of Trauma" (ATLS). 2010 Attended the courses organized by the European Children's Burning Club in Rome (Italy), 2013. - Schubing Clinic in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Tutzing (Germany).

There are Lithuanian Children's Surgeons Association, Baltic Children's Surgeons Association, Lithuanian Children's Orthopedic Traumatologists Association, Lithuanian Wound Treatment Association, member of the European Children's Burning Club.
