Biography
1988-1994 studied at the Kaunas Medical Academy, 1994-1995 Primary residence at Ukmerge National Hospital, 1995-1997 Resident of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Kaunas Medical Academy, and acquired the qualification of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Doctor. Since 2010 He works at the Children's Hospital's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. From 2014 Head of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department doctor Professional experience has been accumulated when working in UAB Sanatorija "Pušyno kelias", in the Department of Medical Rehabilitation of the Hospital of Sapiegai, UAB Karoliniškių Polyclinic, UAB Alsakis, UAB Gemma. 2012 Participated in the OMI AAF Salzburg Weil Cornel Seminar on Rehab Medicine. 2012 Participated in staff exchanges under the LLP / Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility program at the Centre Universitario de Ciencias de la Salud San Rafael Nebirand in Madrid. Has increased his qualification in various professional development courses and seminars: 2007-2010. Continuing courses at the universities of Vilnius and the Netherlands "Basics of Psychotherapy", 2000 Reheumatism Foundation Hospital, Heinola (Finland), 1999 - Sunnan Rehabilitation Hospital, Oslo University (Norway), 1999 Lund University Hospital in Sweden. Since 1999 Lecturer at VIKO SPF Rehabilitation Department. Many years of experience in the preparation of lectures and practical classes for the students of the VIKO and Vilnius University of Educational Sciences, the Nursing Personnel Development and Specialization Center, the Vilnius ŽirmÅ«nai Labor Market Training Center courses, have led to dozens of graduate diploma theses. There is a member of the Lithuanian Association of Physicians, the Lithuanian Association of Rehabilitation, the International Association of Paraplegics.
Research Interest
Areas of professional interest : recent physiotherapy and electrotherapy methods, psychoemotional and motor development of children, rehabilitation of back pain, neurorehabilitation.
