Biography

1997 Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Kaunas University of Medicine (KMU) and acquired a qualification as a medical doctor. 1997-1998 studied at a doctor's residency. 1998-2001 studied anaesthesiology - resuscitation of reanimatology, worked as a doctor's anesthesiologist-reanimatologist in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care of the Clinic of Kaunas University of Medicine, perfectly passed the final exam and acquired an anesthetist-reanimatologist qualification. 2001-2005 continued doctoral studies at the KMU Intensive Care Clinic, worked as an assistant and resident instructor. 2004-2005 Prepared lectures for doctoral postgraduate courses. 2001-2008 He worked at the KMUK Reanimation and Intensive Care Clinic as an anaesthesiologist - reanimatologist. 2001-2002 He worked as an anaesthesiologist - reanimatologist at the Christian Maternity Hospital in Kaunas. Since 2002 He is working as an anaesthesiologist - reanimatologist at the Department of Children's Anesthesiology at the Children's Hospital of the Vilnius University Hospital. He received the courses of "Transfusion", "Antimicrobial treatment in intensive care", "Urgent anesthesia" refresher courses. Participated in I (2005) and III (2007) International Congress of Anesthetics and Intensive Therapy in the Baltic States. 2006 participated in the VI International Symposium on Gastroenterologists and presented a poster presentation "Acute Liver Failure in KMUK 1996-2001" Has published 12 scientific publications. Reads reports at various Lithuanian scientific conferences, presented 3 stencil reports at international conferences. There is a member of the Lithuanian Society of Intensive Care and the Lithuanian Society of Anaesthesiology Reanimatologists. 2005 defended the work of the field of medical sciences in the field of biomedical sciences "Reasons for acute and chronic exacerbations of liver failure, outcome and prognosis criteria".

Research Interest

 acute liver failure, hospital infection, features of preterm newborn anesthesia, massive exacerbations in children's orthopedic surgery and blood preservation methods, surgical and postoperative pediatric anesthesia in urology.
