Since 2009 - Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University Children's orthopedist - traumatologist 1978 Graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of Medicine, 1979 - Pediatric Surgery Internship, 1985 - Postgraduate studies at the Riga Orthopedics Institute. Since 1985 Since 1992 he has been working as a traumatologist orthopedic surgeon at Vilnius University Children's Hospital. - Head of Department of Pediatric Orthopedics, since 2008 - Pediatric Orthopedics - Head of Traumatology Center and Deputy Director for Science and Education. In 1991 Graduated from the Paris Children's Hospital in 1993. and in 1995 - Summer European Orthopedic School, 1996 - Chicago Schriner Children's Orthopedic Hospital, 2003 and in 2005 - Chicago Schriner Children's Orthopedics, Loyola University Clinic of Orthopedics. 2008 Graduates of management courses "Impact of change management on quality promotion process". 1985 He defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Thoracoplasty in scoliosis". Has prepared 18 articles and methodological recommendations. Contributor to the Vth Volume of Childhood Diseases, co-author of the "Family Doctor's Guide" (Drug Knowledge, 2010). Author of the invention of the method of treatment of scoliosis (patents issued in 1994 and 1995). 1995-2000 - President of the Lithuanian Society of Vertebrologists. Since 1998 - President of the Lithuanian Children's Orthopedic Traumatologists' Association and member of the Board of the Lithuanian Orthopedic Traumatologists Society. Since 2003 - Chairman of the Baltic Surgical Society. 2006 awarded the name of a well-deserved doctor of the Republic of Lithuania.
