Biography
1992 graduated from Kaunas University of Medicine (KMU), until 1996 Worked at the Department of Urology at KMU Clinics and at the KMU General Surgery Residence, he received General Category II Surgery. 1996-1998 KMU has obtained a child surgeon's license in the residental age of children in surgery and after internships in Sweden and Vilnius in 1999. got a child urologist certificate. 1998-2009 - Children's Surgeon at KMU Clinics, since 2001 - Head of Pediatric Urology Sector and Administrator of the Children's Surgery Clinic. Since 2006 - Lecturer at KMU Pediatric Surgery Clinic, since 2009 VU Faculty of Medicine, lecturer, from 2015 - Associate Professor at VU Faculty of Medicine. Since 2009 - Head of Department of Pediatric Urology at Vilnius University Children's Hospital. Graduated from Gioteborg, Katowice, Copenhagen, Nantes, Salzburg, Paris, Los Angeles Children's Hospital, Melbourne Royal Children's Hospital, and Children's Urology Department at the Royal Children's Hospital of Manchester. 2000 He defended a biomedical doctoral dissertation on the topic "Vezicoureteric reflux: prevalence and clinical significance among children diagnosed with urinary tract infection". 2005 awarded a Diploma of Specialization for the Pediatric Surgery of the University of Paris (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris 6) and the Pediatric Surgical License of the Physicians Union of Paris. 2006 awarded by the French Interdisciplinary Pediatric Urology Diploma (Université Claude Bernard, Lyon 1). Member of the Lithuanian Society of Children's Surgeons, EUPSA (European Pediatric Surgeons' Association), European Pediatric Urology Society (ESPU), Baltic Children's Surgeons Association and Lithuanian Society of Urologists. Announced more than 10 scientific publications, is a contributor to Volume 5 of the book on Children's Diseases. Reads reports at various Lithuanian and international scientific conferences.
