Biography
2003 Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University, Pediatrics. At the Vilnius Pediatric Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University, he graduated from the Department of Medicine and acquired the specialty of Children's Diseases and Children's Pulmonology. 2010 Oxford University (UK) has completed a two-year post-doctoral pediatric infectious disease study. 2014 - At the Clinic of Children's Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University, he completed doctoral studies, received a Ph.D. in medical science. He has been working at the Children's Hospital since 2008, currently Head of Children's Infectious Diseases Division. Improved professional qualifications at the International Pediatric Pulmonology Course in Portofino, Italy, at the Basel University Hospital for Children Infectious Diseases in Switzerland, the National Institute of Health Virusology Laboratory in London (UK), the International PENTA (Children's HIV Infection and AIDS) course in Rome (Italy). Member of the Organizing Committee, the Lithuanian Pediatric Society, the Baltic Immunoprophylaxis Association (BALTIPA), the European Children's Infectious Diseases Association (ESPID), the Central European Vaccine Expert Group (CEVAG), the International Vilnius Course Update on Pediatric Infections, a member
Research Interest
infectious diseases of children, including HIV infection of children, tuberculosis, viral diarrhea, vaccineology, clinical pediatric pharmacology.
