Biography
1989 Graduated from Kaunas Medical Institute, 1993 - Residency at otorhinolaryngology in Kaunas Academic Clinics. He has trained several times in the field of diagnosis and treatment of ear diseases in the University of Lund, Sweden, and has developed new methods for hearing research. Participated in a standardization project for hearing aids in Europe in Rotterdam, Amsterdam. Improved qualification of modern auditory hearing rehab with hearing implants in Denmark, Austria, and Italy. Participated in the study of methodology and rehabilitation of hearing loss in people with intellectual disabilities in Austria. In Germany, the Dahme-Spreewald Achenbach Hospital has been trained on endontal and uterine surgery for several times. Since 2003 is the head of the Healthy Hearing Program at the Lithuanian Special Olympics. 2003 defended the dissertation on biomedical sciences: "Quantitative assessment of speech audiometry in the open field, rehabilitation of patients suffering from neurosensor abnormalities". Announced more than 20 scientific publications. Reads reports at Lithuanian and international scientific conferences.

Scientific research and professional areas of interest: ear disease diagnostics, treatment, clinical audiology, pediatric audiology, quantitative assessment of conservative and surgical hearing rehabilitation, geriatric hearing disability aspects, healthy education and hearing loss, hearing loss of blind people, peculiarities of the pathology of people with intellectual disabilities, quantitative assessment of the quality of life of the newly born people.
