Biography
1984 -1990 studied at Kaunas Medical Academy (KMA), received a doctor's degree, from 1990 to 1992. In the Department of Eye Diseases at the CMB, he acquired the specialty of ophthalmologist at residency, in 1997-1999. - Kaunas University of Technology - Master's degree in Management.Since 2008 He works at the Vilnius Department of Children's Hospital's Eye Diseases Department.1993 Graduated from the Eye of the Gavle Hospital in Sweden in 1995. - Helsinki University Eye Clinic, 1995, 1996, 1998 - The Oslo National Hospital Eye Unit. 2006, 2007 - The American Academy of Ophthalmology, 2007 - in Norway 2005 He listened to optic correction courses in Prague.2004 - 2008 Worked as a lecturer in the Department of Eye Diseases at Kaunas University of Medicine, lectures for students and residents, conducted workshops for students and seminars for residents. He trained two refresher courses in reflexology and healing courses.2004 He defended his doctoral dissertation on "Clinical characteristics of internally aged children at an angular angle". Announced 24 scientific publications, including 5 articles in international scientific journals.Participates and reads reports at scientific conferences in Lithuania and abroad. European Structural Funds Support Project "Integral Development of the Activity of the Lithuanian Distance Learning System" in 2007. Prepared a distance education course "Diagnostic and treatment of eye diseases". Member of the Lithuanian Society of Eye Doctors, Member of the editorial board of the journal Lietuvos ophtalmologija, Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 2006, Member of the European Society of Dermatology Doctor since 2004, Member of the European Ophthalmologist Contactologists Society in Lithuania and Member of the Presidium. Co-author of the Universal Lithuanian Encyclopedia, Childcare and Diseases Manual.
Research Interest
Areas of professional interest include irritability, refractive errors, facial-vision correction, clinical optics.
