Biography
1995 Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Vilnius University Pediatric Degree Program in 1997. - a general residency of children's diseases, acquired a pediatrician qualification. 1997-1998 He worked as a physician at the Pediatric Neurology and Neurophysiology Department of Children's Neurology at the Children's Hospital at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, led by prof. dr Eugen Boltshauser 1999 Graduated from the pediatric neuroscience of children, acquired a pediatric neurologist qualification. 1999-2003 He worked as a pediatric neurologist at the Child Development Center and carried out an analysis of computer electroencephalography. 1999-2008 He worked as a pediatric neurologist at the Department of Children's Neurosurgery at the Children's Hospital of Vilnius University and carried out an analysis of computer electroencephalography. Since 2008 He works as the Head of Children's Neurology Department at the Children's Hospital, analyzes computerized electroencephalograms, polysomnograms. 2002 received a certificate for conducting and evaluation of computerized electroencephalography, in 2004. - certificate for botulinum toxin injection. 2004 Graduated from the University of Bern Hospital, Sleep Disorders and Epilepsy (Inselspital, Switzerland). 2012 He defended his doctoral dissertation on "Sleep disorder in epileptic children and features of melatonin secretion and excretion". From 2012 coordinates the activities of the Centers for the Etiology of Children's Epilepsy and Sleep Disorders on rare diseases. There are Lithuanian Children's Neurological Society, the Vilnius Regional Neurological Society, the Lithuanian Epileptologists' Association, the Children's Neurological Association of the Baltic States, the member of the Deutsch-Baltischen Ärztegesellschaft eV Societies. Since 2005 Consultant in the field of pediatric neurology at the Ministry of Health.
Research Interest
Occupational areas of interest: child epilepsy, sleep disorders, movement disorders (dystonia, ataxia, chorea, only, etc.), autoimmune central nervous system diseases, neuromuscular diseases, neurophysiological studies: electroencephalography, polysomnography, multiple fallback test, actigraphy.
