Biography

1981 Graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of Medicine, acquired a doctor's degree in pediatrician education, in 1982. He conducted a pediatric specialty internship at Vilnius University. Since 1983 He worked at the Emergency Medical Center of Vilnius. Since 1989 He worked at the Vilnius University Children's Hospital Pediatric Center in the Diagnostic (Infectious Diseases) Department at the Admissions Department, Viral Hepatitis Division. Since 2008 He works as a pediatric dentist in the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology. Has the first childhood infectologist qualification and first pediatric qualification category for a doctor. Participates in republican and international scientific - practical conferences, seminars, courses on the development of doctors. There are Lithuanian Association of Pediatricians, Lithuanian Infectologists, Lithuanian Gastroenterologists' Associations and the Baltic Immunoprophylaxis Association.                    

Research Interest

Areas of professional interest: children's infectious and non-infectious gastrointestinal diseases, infectious and parasitic diseases of the children (unspecified fever, skin rashes, helminthiasis, acute lymphadenitis, etc.), their diagnosis and treatment.
