1978 Graduated from the Kaunas Medical Institute and the Ophthalmology Internship, acquired an ophthalmologist specialty. Since 1979 Worked as an ophthalmologist at the Vilnius Mission Hospital, since 1995. Head of Children's Eye Department. 2004 After moving to the Vilnius University Children's Hospital for children's eye diseases department, he worked as an ophthalmologist for children.
