Habil Dr Victoria GineitytÄ—
Professor
Theoretical Physics and Astronomy
Vilnius University
Lithuania
Biography
I graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of Physics, in 1977. I defended my doctoral thesis in 1981 at Vilnius University. In 1999, I defended my habilitation work at the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy in Physical Sciences. From 1977-1987, I worked at the Faculty of Chemistry at VU, from 1987 - I was a senior trainee at Theoretical Physics and Astronomy Academy, and as a defense in my habilitation work, I became a senior researcher.
Research Interest
Development of qualitative theory of electronic structure and chemical reactivity of organic molecules. Application of algebraic methods and Hiukel's model to solve non-canonical single-electron problems of molecules.
