Biography
Michael Harris was appointed as Alvogen’s General Counsel in June 2016. A UK qualified solicitor, with many years’ experience in the pharma industry in both the originator and generic sectors, Michael has held a number of senior legal positions. He has been located in several places including China, Hong Kong and Japan, to mention but a few. Prior to joining Alvogen, Michael was Legal Counsel (ROW) for Actavis and he worked as a legal consultant for two years. As General Counsel, Michael’s main focus is on providing advice to Alvogen’s Board and member of the Executive team, making sure that there is an appropriate Legal function and resource in place to meet Alvogen’s business needs, managing that resource, reviewing and establishing group legal policies, and providing advice on key commercial agreements.
