Head of Dept. of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection, Military Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology in Warsaw, Poland. 1978 PhD, 1987 assist. prof., 1987 full professor in medical sci. 2007-2013 president of the Polish Radiation Research Society, member of the European Radiation Research Society, European Society for Cancer Research, Polish Immunological Society; advisor to Polish Representative to UNSCEAR. Co-author of 110 publications in radiobiology, immunology, radiation hygiene, and epidemiology. co-editor and co-author of books (in Polish): “Medicine of Radiation Hazards” (2005), “Pathology of Injuries and Diseases Caused by a War and Acts of Terrorism” (2010).
