Biography

Currently, I live and work in Luxembourg, but I am open for new job opportunities matching my professional profile in the areas: biotechnological, medical or pharmaceutical. In particular I would be very interested to work as Application Specialist or in Clinical Research, not only in Luxembourg but also in other countries (I am flexible). My proffesional summary: Master in Biology with 14 years experience in laboratory work in Poland and abroad, including: new laboratory protocols and methods development, laboratory diagnostics, laboratory and medical equipment, quality systems, handling of the trainings and performing tasks outside the office like establishing new cooperative laboratories. Among the others I gained hands on experience and I am very familiar with: *genetic research, especially applied in biobanking, detecting crimes and legal proceedings; * maintaining and developing contacts within medical and law environment; *quality systems and their implementation, especially in the area of laboratory equipment; *molecular biology techniques (nucleic acids extraction including automated extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, electrophoresis including ABI Prism Genetic Analyser, Agilent Bioanalyser); *stem cells biology techniques, cell culturing, labolatory assays (for example: flow cytometry, DNA/RNA quantification: spectrophotometry, spectrofluorometry);  *automated liquid handling techniques (Tecan liquid handler, automated nucleic acids extractions systems: Qiagen and Perkin Elmer (Chemagen and Janus)); *spectrophotometry, spectrofluorometry techniques (Synergy Microplate Reader); *RIN (RNA integrity); *preparing of the SOP's, and Working Instructions, monitoring of the compliance with SOP, supervision of the technical aspect of the laboratory functioning; *laboratory equipment management. In my work places I have been always found as very open-minded and enthusiastic person with professional attitude to work and careful about details.
