Biography
I am a postdoc at Luxembourg Institute of Health specialised on targeted proteomics (mass spectrometry). Here my research focuses on the application of parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) technique to clinical questions. In particular, I'm working on the analysis of phospho-peptides for the study of cell signalling in cancer cell lines. Background: I studied Medicinal Chemistry at University of Bologna (IT). During this period I visited Prof. Heck's lab (NL) for an internship where, thereafter, I started my PhD. My PhD project focused on development of new mass spectrometric tools for the characterisation of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), with particular interest toward mixtures of mAbs, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and mAbs glycosylation. Right after my PhD I joined Astex Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge (UK) where I was mainly working on protein mass spectrometry.
