Xianqing Mao

Biography

My interest in cancer experimental research stems from my formative years in medicine which led me to undertake a PhD in Nancy, France. I have realized that my training needs far more breadth if I am to establish a successful research career, which has been the motivation for moving to Luxembourg Institute of Health and being a member of the European Health Parliament to improve the public healthcare more directly.
