Hojae SHIM is associate professor at University of Macau. He rceived his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from Seoul National University, Korea and Master in Environmental Microbiology from Ohio State University, U.S.A.

Environmental Biotechnology, Biological Wastewater Treatment and Effluent Reuse, Generation of Renewable Energy (Biogas/Biodiesel) from Waste/Wastewater, Bioremediation of Contaminated Environments, Bioremoval of New Emerging Micropollutants from Environment, Biodegradation/Biotransformation
