Biography

Timothy A. Simpson received his Bachelor's degree fron Auburn University and Master's from University of Arkansas. He earned his Ph.D. from University of South Florida.

Research Interest

Asian urbanisms; architectures and environments of consumption; Chinese tourism and post-socialist consumption practices; material and immaterial forms of gambling; ethnographic approaches to everyday life; and the political economy of intercultural communication
