Matthew M. Richardson

Biography

Matthew M. Richardson, who joined Aris Radiology as COO in 2017, provides leadership and management support to physician practice operations and client support teams. He most recently served as senior vice president, Physician Operations, for Surgery Partners, with overall responsibility for strategic physician partnerships, relationship management and financial stewardship for the company’s national network of employed providers. Prior to joining Surgery Partners, Mr. Richardson served as vice president, Physician Practice Operations, Division V, at Community Health Systems. With over a decade of experience related to payor business operations, Mr. Richardson was previously director of Claims Operations and Process Improvement for Centene Corporation, and administrator of the Georgia managed-care program, Peach State Health Plan. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Kentucky.
