Biography
Li-Ming Gan is a Chief Physician in non-invasive cardiology with broad clinical skills in cardiovascular diagnostics. Since 2009, he has been professor in translational cardiovascular research and drug discovery at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Göteborg, Sweden. Li-Ming actively runs academic research in the field of cardiovascular phenotyping of patients with ischemic heart disease and heart failure, as well as the development and validation of preclinical translational animal disease models.
Research Interest
Li-Ming has been Senior Director in the Early Clinical Development department and is responsible for all clinical activities, including early explorative human experimental work, human target validation and clinical trials up to phase 2b in the cardiovascular space.
