Biography
Ivy Clift is Chief Development Officer, responsible for expanding the Lab’s philanthropic base of support. She also serves as the President of the Berkeley Lab Foundation, a separate 501(c)3 dedicated to raising funding for the Lab. Prior to her arrival at the Lab in 2015, Ivy was the assistant vice president of medical center development at Stanford for three years, where she helped lead the successful $1 billion campaign for Stanford Medicine. Prior to that, she was director of The Stanford Fund for four years, raising over $20 million annually for undergraduate students. Ivy has served the University of California in a number of roles, including as UC Berkeley’s assistant athletic director, and as UCSF’s development director for medical education. She holds a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from University of California Berkeley.
