Jo Dee Widmayer

Biography

Jo Dee Widmayer serves as the Senior Administrator to Berkeley Lab’s Director, and also supports the Chief of Staff. Prior to this key role, she was the Senior Administrator to the Deputy Director, and before that served as an Administrator to the Chief Information Officer. Jo Dee has over 22 years of service with the University of California, including roles at UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. At LLNL, she served for 16 years as an Administrator, and was also Facility Security Officer at the LLNL-Los Angeles office. While at LLNL, she served in the science divisions, including the National Ignition Facility, the world’s largest laser. Jo Dee also has over 16 years of extensive private sector experience, including key executive administrative roles for the President of Honeywell International in the Silicon Valley and the Vice President of Franklin Templeton Investments.
