Karen Salvini

Biography

Karen Salvini is Berkeley Lab’s Sustainability Project Manager. Karen works with stakeholders across the Lab to engage on projects with specific outcomes that contribute to the Lab’s aggressive sustainability goals. Karen has a diverse background in project and program management, sustainability and environment, information technology, communications, and organizational change management. Prior to joining the Sustainable Berkeley Lab team, Karen worked as a program manager in the Environmental Technologies Area, and led communications and change management for the Lab’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Before Berkeley Lab, Karen worked in marine research and policy at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Karen received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science at Wesleyan University, and her MBA at the University of California Berkeley. She is a LEED Accredited Professional
