Dr Rama Krsna Rajandram

Biography

  Dr. Rama Krsna Received his dental degree from the National University Of Malaysia in 2004. He served his compulsory intership with the Ministry of Health for three years before joining the National University of Malaysia as a trainee lecturer. He completed his specialization in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the University Of Hong Kong. He obtained a distinction in his Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery which was conferred from the University of Hong Kong. To supplement his qualification in the speciality, Dr.Rama also passed the membership exam from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2009. Subsequently, Dr. Rama Krsna completed his Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS) in University Malaya. Dr.Rama is a consultant for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the National University of Malaysia. He actively participates in the undergraduate and post graduate training at the Faculty of Dentistry UKM. Dr.Rama Krsna practices the full scope of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery speciality. His main interest are the correction of dentofacial deformities and dental implants. He also performs on a daily basis surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth and any other teeth to facilitate orthodontic treatment. He actively uses the latest computer planning software to enhance better surgical outcomes and improve patient satisfaction. His other areas of expertise include maxillofacial trauma and removal of maxillofacial pathology such cyst and tumours affecting the maxilla and mandible.Procedures can be done under sedation or general anesthesia for patients who are very anxious. Dr.Rama Krsna actively participates in international events and conferences and is up to date with all the latest technology and treatment that can be provide to patients. He is an active member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon as well as the Malaysian Dental Association. He is a registered specialist with the National Specialist Registrar of Malaysia.
