Biography
He holds a PhD in Environmental Economics and Environmental Management from York University, Master of Science in Information Technology Manufacture (Environment) from Warwick University and Bachelor in Science in Town Planning Studies from Birmingham Polytechnic, United Kingdom. He also took an Advanced Management Program with Harvard Business School, Harvard University, USA and is an alumni of the university. YBhg Datuk Dr Aminuddin Hassim is currently the Director, National Strategy Unit, Ministry of Finance. Prior to that, he was the Deputy Secretary General, Ministry of the Plantation Industries and Commodities and had held several key positions in the public sector namely as the Director of the National Strategy Coordination Unit, Ministry of Finance and the Director of the National Institute of Public Administration. YBhg Datuk Dr Aminuddin Hassim is also a Member of the Board of Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) and Universiti Utara Malaysia.
