Biography
Naser Jaafar is the Chief Operating Officer at Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM). His team is responsible for creating wealth through innovation via strategic equity investment in game changing and high impact innovative start-ups and commercialization of innovations from public and private universities and research institutes as well as from the industry. Prior to joining AIM, Naser was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch Malaysia for 22 years, of which from 2002 to 2012, as the Chief Executive Officer. Naser has served various positions at the Bank in Malaysia, Singapore and Jakarta. Naser received his Masters of Business Administration from North Texas State University, USA in 1987. Naser joined the Board in April 2015.
