Bromine can be recovered from Industrial Bromides or Bittern. Being a highly reactive material, this element has been found to have a wide range of uses. It is used in chemical industries as well as in the pharmaceuticals. It's widely used in areas such as, chemical industries, agro chemicals, antiknock additives, drilling fluids, photographic chemicals, plastic industry and drugs and pharmaceuticals. Above all, bromine is chiefly used as a fire retardant and in the manufacture of chemicals.
