Ong Joo Yi, D.c.

Biography

Dr. Ong Joo Yi graduated with honors from the International Medical University (Malaysia). She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Chiropractic. She resides in Kuala Lumpur with her family whom she is dearly attached to, in which later on, inspired her in becoming a chiropractor. Her grandmother suffered from severe osteoarthritis of the knees and immense back pain for years. Due to ineffective treatments and poorly rendered therapies, her grandmother reached a stage where she was bound to a wheelchair. She was entirely dependent on others even to carry out her simple daily activities. Dr. Joo Yi saw this and felt infuriated by the inefficient treatments. She believes that her grandmother’s current situation was avoidable and as such has made it her life’s mission to seek out clinical excellence in Chiropractic care through efficient treatments based on accurate diagnosis. She decided then to pursue this career path and become a Chiropractor in the hopes of preventing more people from sharing the same fate as her grandmother did. All our clinical staff shares Dr. Joo Yi’s commitment to excellence in Chiropractic and Physiotherapy. Her decision to join our team was an easy one, because of our methods of target specific holistic treatments. Dr. Joo Yi basses her chiropractic care entirely on her life motto, “You can never care too much.” Her heart for helping people and making them feel better is evident in her clinical conduct. With every patient that walks in the door, she commits all her energy and a drive to ensure they achieve complete recovery. Her goal in life is to spread the news regarding the wonder of Chiropractic to people of all ages. She has experience and has achieved outstanding results in treating patients with osteoarthritis and other joint problems.
