Biography
EXPERIENCE: John P. McGrath, Ph.D., has been corporate vice president, quality, since 2007. He has more than 30 years of medical device and combination product experience in quality, manufacturing and product development. Prior to joining Edwards, McGrath was vice president of quality at Cordis Corporation in Miami Lakes, Fla., where his quality assurance responsibilities included cardiovascular, endovascular and neurovascular businesses. Prior to that, he was director of quality at CR Bard's USCI and electrophysiology divisions. McGrath serves on the board of directors for Orange County United Way. UNIVERSITY: He received a bachelor's degree from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, a master's degree in total quality management from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom, and a doctorate degree in management from California Coast University.
