Biography
A renowned eye surgeon, Dr. Lim Thung Kiat comes with impressive credentials, qualifications and expertise in ophthalmologic disciplines. He graduated with an M.B.B.S. from the University of Singapore on an ASEAN scholarship, and obtained his FRCS and RCPS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, after which he was appointed Honorary Registrar at the Moorfield Eye Hospital. From 1979 until 1982, he worked under Dr. D.P. Choyce, one of the world expert in intraocular lens implantations. Dr. Lim is also a member of the Malaysian Academy of Medicine, and was formerly a consultant in ophthalmology at University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
