Biography
In June 2000, Dr. Law received subspeciality training Cornea and External Diseases of the Eye at the renowned University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. During this time, he was trained extensively in the management of complicated cornea and anterior segment diseases, and performed over a hundred cornea transplantation surgeries, both independently and supervised. While undergoing training in laser refractive surgery at the famous Gimbel Eye Center in Toronto, he also collaborated on a revolutionary research paper in which cornea transplantation was performed under topical anaesthesia. This was subsequently published in the prestigious peer reviewed journal Cornea, in 2004. Education Dr. Michael Law graduated from the prestigious University of Dublin, Trinity College (founded in 1592, the oldest university in the Republic of Ireland), with Bachelor of Art and Medical Degrees (BA, MB. BCh, B.A.O) in 1993. In 1997 Memberships a full Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (UK).
