Biography

Dr. Eskandar@Zulkarnain Hassan commenced his practice in KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital in August 2012 as a Resident Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. At Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, he was a Trainee Lecturer from year 2002 to 2008, Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedic Surgeon (Spine Surgery and General Orthopaedic) from year 2008 to 2010 and Senior Lecturer in Spine Unit from year 2010 to 2012. He was also awarded APOA Spine Fellowship (In, Jp, Tw) in 2010 and Spine Endoscopic Fellowship (Fr) (2011). Specialty interest in: 1. General orthopaedic surgery 2. Spinal instrumentation surgery for trauma and deformity 3. Endoscopic decompression lumbar and cervical 4. Endoscopic discectomy 5. Thoracoscopic spinal surgery for trauma and discectomy
