About Dr. Ashar commenced his practice at KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist effective April, 1995. He's also a lecturer in Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine in University Kebangsaan Malaysia. Dato' Dr. Ashar was attached with Glasgow Royal Infirmary & Maternity in Supernumerary Registrar O & G from 1988 to 1989, Urology Institute Kuala Lumpur as Medical Officer (Elective) Urology from 1985 to 1986. Education He obtained his Doctor of Medicine MD (UKM) in 1989, MRCOG (London) in 1989 and Masters O&G (UKM) in 1989.
