Lee Jia Shuen

Biography

Dr Lee Jia Shuen received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2012 fromAIMST University, which is one of the oldest private dental schools in Malaysia. In 2016, she obtained her post-graduate diploma certification (Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery) from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. During her service with the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Dr Lee was attached to the Dental Specialist Clinic in Sarawak General Hospital, where she was trained in various procedures including management of medically compromised patients, minor oral surgeries, dental trauma management and dental emergencies. Her clinical interest is in restorative dentistry and root canal treatment. She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing modern dental care procedures. Recently, her focus is on resin based dental restorations. She is also a member of the International Association of Dental Trauma. Dr Lee is actively involved in charity and community services during her free time.She also joins Mercy Malaysia and Tzu Chi International Medical Association to provide free dental treatment and counselling for the underprivileged. She has given numerous dental care awareness talks, such as on Sarawak radio station and in Kedah Community Centre for Children with Special Needs.
