Consultant Dental & Oral Maxillofacial SurgeryDr Wong Lai YeeBDS (Mal) FDSRCS (Eng) Listed in the National Specialist Registry (Academy of Medicine)BACKGROUND - Graduated from University of Malaya in 1988 with BDS - Upon graduation, joined general dental practice in Ipoh (1988-1992) - Furthered postgraduate training in UK with attachments in various Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Departments (1992-1995) - Joined the Fellowship training programme in University of Malaya, also appointed as part-time tutor (1995-1996) - Joined Hospital Terengganu, with attachment to the Periodontics, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery & Pedodontics Department, and joint cases with the Plastic & Reconstructive Unit mainly in trauma (1997-1998) - Obtained the Fellowship in Dental Surgery (England) (1997) - Joined Loh Guan Lye Specialists Center (1998 till present) March 1998 - December 2015: The only Consultant in Dental Department, managing all aspects of dental practice, ranging from general dentistry to medically related patients and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and cooperation with the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon SPECIALTY : Oral Maxillofacial Dentistry General Dentistry
