Biography
Shamira joined MABIC in April 2011. Shamira enjoys the daily challenges of being a Project Manager and appreciates the opportunity to meet various stakeholders in biotechnology industry. Shamira assists in stakeholder engagement activities involving scientists, policy makers, academia, industry partners, and the media. She also writes for the The Petri Dish where in a typical week she could jump from issues like genetically modified foods, to food security, to climate change. She is enthusiastic to multiply effect of MABIC's effort in communicating biotechnology. Shamira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology.
