Dr. Wong Pak Seng

Biography

Dr. Wong graduated from National University of Malaysia in 1994 and obtained his Masters of Medicine from University of Malaya. After becoming a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, United Kingdom (UK) in 2000, he pursued a highly competitive Fellowship in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine at the London Fertility Centre under the tutelage of Prof Ian Craft, a world renowned fertility pioneer. He obtained his Fellowship in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine in the same year. During the same period, he was also attached with the Royal Free Hospital (London) in Minimal Access Surgery, where he perfected his skills in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic reproductive surgery. Upon his return from UK in 2003, he has worked in several IVF centres before founding Sunfert in 2009. He was instrumental in setting up Sunfert from ground-up. Dr. Wong was actively involved in the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Malaysia and held the post of the Honorary Secretary from 2009-2011. He speaks regularly at public forums as well as at medical conferences. With more than 12 years’ experience in treating infertile couples and having performed over 3000 IVF cycles, Dr. Wong is the key driver behind Sunfert’s success and a leading opinion leader in fertility in Malaysia.
